WCHS student  selected for young scholars internship program

News release from Worth County School Systems

Ben Culpepper, son of Missy and Billy Culpepper, was selected as a participant in the Georgia Young Scholars Internship Program. This summer he will work a 6 week internship at the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Tifton Campus.  

He will work with a scientist doing research and he will also work on his own research project that when finished, he will take to the Athens campus to present at the end of internship.

Emergency board of education meeting

SYLVESTER, GA - The Worth County Board of Education will hold a work session and board meeting Tuesday, May 15, at 7 p.m. at 103 Eldridge Street.

The meeting will focus on discussing the electronic device policy of Worth County Schools.

This is also an emergency meeting to meet the printing deadline for student agendas and handbooks. 

The meeting is open to the public.
